Your role as DE includes thesupport of the technical execution of Robotics deployment projects.You will travel to a construction site, interact with differenton-site teams and remote stakeholders. Analyze and resolvetechnical issues and execute, supervise and validate the completionof deployment milestones. Next to the support on deploymentprojects, you will provide training and presentations of technicaldetails to other teams and work closely with the productdevelopment and support teams. Traveling requirement for this roleis up to 75%. Key job responsibilities - Your background includes aReady-to-apply understanding of IT and data network concepts (e.g.Linux Operating System; Internet, Ethernet and Wireless protocols)- Scripting to automate tasks in Linux or Windows PowerShell areactivities you have experience in. Troubleshooting and repairingsystem issues. - You are a self-starter and eager to acquire newknowledge through self-study and exploration. - Hands-on activitiesare something you enjoy wholeheartedly. A day in the life Your dayas Deployment Engineer might start out with a trip to the nearestairport to take you to a construction site. Once you've arrived onsite, you will go through a safety induction and meet the team onsite. You will then review the activities on site related to theproject plan and mile stones. You will review any technical issuesthe team on site is experiencing and initiate the resolution. Inbetween, you might join meetings to align with local and remotestakeholder teams on technical issue reviews and project alignment.The day finishes with a team dinner. GRUNDQUALIFIKATIONEN • CompletedBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering,Telecommunication, Robotics or equivalent • Relevant experience •Business-level written and oral English communication skills •Passionate about hands-on troubleshooting activities, whetherhardware, software, infrastructure (power and data) • Proficiencyin Linux administration and troubleshooting • Proficiency in datanetwork concepts and protocols • Proficiency in the use ofscripting languages • Able to provide examples where yousuccessfully resolved a software, hardware and network issue • Ableto provide examples where you successfully used scripting toautomate a task • Comfortable to be working in a construction siteenvironment • Drivers license BEVORZUGTE QUALIFIKATIONEN • MS inComputer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication orRobotics or related field • Certifications: Cisco Certified NetworkAssociate, Linux Administrator or Linux Engineer • Severalexperiences of having deployed robotics technologies successfully •Additional languages apart from English • Experience in leading ateam of international technicians and engineers • Able to provideexamples where you worked in an international project environmentAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
