Sales Manager - IAM

You'll join a sales team of 3 as one of the most experienced sales hires as part of their growth plans to drive new sales for this growing IAM software company.

What you'll be doing
As a Sales Manager, you'll be joining a team of 3 in the company who contribute to sales (a COO, a junior sales person and a highly experienced sales person with a full focus on partners). Your focus will be on driving new customer sales and achieving revenue targets. You'll have a goal-oriented customer approach to acquire new customers & strategically close complex sales.
You'll report to the COO who's still hands selling, and work alongside your other sales colleagues. 70% of sales are through channel partners and that will continue to grow with your help as they evolve and also look to expand more outside of Germany too, but your focus mainly will be to bring in new business largely through direct sales initially.
Average sales cycles are between 6-9 months, with an average deal size of 60,000 currently, 70 customers on the IGA product and a similar number for their GRC product (50% in regulated industries), users ranging from 500 to 250,000 currently.
Your vertical focus is relatively open as there isn't yet a distinction in the sales team with sector, ticket size or region ownership, but in general you'll be selling to enterprise in DACH. You'll also be someone who can help play a key role in expanding outside of the DACH region with is a key short term aim.

- Salary: Upto 100k base ideally BUT with scope for higher depending on the direct experience you bring. 50/50 base and commission split (uncapped bonus element). + company car. ~200k OTE estimated. Happy to discuss.
- Level: 3+ years experience needed - Mid or Senior
- Locations: Remote friendly in Germany is fine, but they'd love an openness to visit them in Regensburg Bavaria as regularly as you can, and for onboarding etc. Customer travel expected on occasion.
- Hours: 40 hours - flexible - e.g. early or late riser? You decide.
