Required Skills & Experience
- 8 + years total SAP functional experience, at least 5 + in SAP IS-Retail AMS or production support.
- Proven expertise configuring and supporting at least three core Retail areas (Article/Site Master, Pricing & Promotions, Merchandise Distribution, POSDTA/CAR, Allocation, Markdown, Omnichannel).
- Minimum one S/4HANA Retail or Fashion Management support engagement (1909 or later preferred).
- Hands-on in debugging/basic ABAP (tables, BADIs, user-exits, IDocs) and Fiori troubleshooting.
- Strong integration knowledge with SD, MM, FI, EWM/TM, CAR, 3rd-party POS, e-commerce platforms.
- Demonstrated track record meeting SLA and availability targets in high-volume retail environments (Black Friday, Holiday peaks).
- Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, Solution Manager ITSM) and ChaRM.
- ITIL Foundation certified (or commitment to certify within 6 months).
- Fluency in English; additional major EMEA language(s) (German, French, Spanish, Arabic, Polish etc.) highly desirable.
- Eligibility to work in the EU/EMEA and participate in on-call rotations.
- Having exp in POSDM system
- Integration between POSDM and ECC/S4
- Data Migration in ECC, S/4,
- Data handling in ECC for POS Sales
- Configuration exp in POS and issue resolution
- Exp in Article Master, Article types and hierarchy, Site configs.
- Promotions, Idoc Management, Error handling of Idocs
- Enhancements on ECC and configurations on POS and ECC
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor"s degree in Information Systems, Supply-Chain, Business, Engineering or equivalent.
- SAP Certified Application Professional - SAP S/4HANA for SAP Retail for Merchandise Management or ECC IS-Retail (desired).
- Agile/Scrum, Prince2 or PMP certification advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Run & Maintain
- Resolve L2/L3 incidents and service requests for IS-Retail modules (MM-PUR, MM-IM, SD, Retail Pricing, Promotions, Allocation, POSDTA, CAR, etc.) within agreed SLAs.
- Perform deep-dive root-cause analysis, propose permanent fixes, document knowledge articles and prevent recurrence (Problem Management).
- * Monitor critical batch jobs (listing, end-of-day, inventory, POS inbound, IDoc queues) and interface health (PI/PO, CPI, MQ, Kafka).
Minor Enhancements & Change Releases
- Capture business requirements, write Functional Specifications, configure and test small/medium CRs (pricing tactics, new sites, new article hierarchies, promotion types, markdown rules, stock-transfer scenarios).
- Coordinate with ABAP/Fiori, Integration and Basis teams; manage transports through ChaRM / CTS+; execute regression testing during quarterly releases or Support Package stacks.
- Process & System Optimization
- Analyze ticket trends and KPIs; recommend process automation (Fiori Retail apps, BTP extensions, CAR POSDTA 3.0, MIM, OAA).
- Benchmark new S/4HANA Retail for Merchandise Management features and plan value-realization road-maps (e.g., Advanced Returns, Unified Demand Forecast, Replenishment).
- Lead continuous-improvement workshops with Buying, Merchandising, Supply-Chain, Store Ops and e-Commerce teams.
Governance, Compliance & Security
- Enforce ITIL v4 processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Knowledge, Service Levels).
- Ensure audit readiness (SOX, GDPR, PCI-DSS) by maintaining proper change controls, authorizations (Fiori/RFC), master-data governance and evidence packs.
- Participate in disaster-recovery drills and major incident bridges; provide RCA and corrective-action reports to management.
- Collaboration & Leadership
- Mentor junior support analysts; perform quality reviews on tickets and documentation.
- Liaise with SAP, third-party vendors and integration partners to resolve OSS messages and interface issues.
- Support pre-sales or service expansion activities (effort estimation, solution walkthroughs).

Sales & Store Operations
- POSDTA / TPOM / CAR Inbound & Outbound, Sales Audit, Stock Ledger, Returns, Omnichannel ATP/OAA, Gift Cards & Loyalty.
Inventory & Logistics
- Inventory Management, Physical Inventory, Site-to-Site STOs, Merchandise Distribution (VD, VSD).
- Integration with EWM/TM or third-party WMS.
Analytics & Digital
- SAP CAR (POSDTA, Unified Demand Forecast, SAP Analytics Cloud), BW/4HANA reporting, Fiori Apps, BTP extensions.
