MasterSearch are currently working with a leading Global manufacturer of high-quality vacuum equipment.
Our client is looking for an Area Sales Manager to lead a sales team within DACH which will join their EMEA Sales Management team. This role will manage the German, Austrian and German speaking Swiss territories.

Main Responsibilities;
- Leadership and management of the DACH Sales Team, including staff performance review
- Part of the EMEIA Sales Management Team – supporting the development of strategy for not only your regional territory but also for the whole DACH area.
- Responsibility for developing and maintaining sales budget for whole area including goal setting for your team.
- Drive growth in sales, whilst maintaining GP levels in-line with corporate goals.
- Frequent contact and reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing, EMEIA.
- Build, nurture and maintain positive internal and external relationships within region and in area.
- Provide market feedback and participate in corporate marketing efforts.
- CRM - Maintain, update and review for Territory all open opportunities.
Profile;
- Have a positive attitude and be able to maintain professional, high-quality working relationships with all members of the company globally and regardless of background or role.
- Are results-driven with a proven track record of managing both existing and new business, and have strong leadership skills
- You excel at driving projects forward and confident in making strategic business decisions
- Are committed to domestic and international travel to our various offices and key customers
- You have prior experience using a global CRM system
- Have the ability to handle multiple, simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment while paying very close attention to detail.
- Have knowledge of the vacuum technology industry or a B2B technical sales background
- Ability to spot new markets / areas to grow into
Languages;
- Fluent in both German and English
