Our collective operating companies form a significant presence in Europe with over 65,000 employees and present a wide breadth of associate representative forums (including 60+ works councils across Europe). 

  Danaher is seeking a Regional Leader, Europe (f/m/d) for its Labor and Employee Relations (LER) Center of Excellence who is responsible for driving our LER COE mission in Europe: To transform the way labor and employee relations services are provided – with fairness, expertise, experience, efficiency and professionalism. The Regional Leader must be able to do so in a process-oriented function, with intentional governance, roles, and responsibilities, that relies on data-based decisions around continuous improvement and deployment.
The LER COE Regional Leader for Europe will also provide creative and effective recommendations and solutions for challenging and sensitive labor and employee relations matters that support a positive and fair workplace culture consistent with Danaher’s Code of Conduct and Core Values. This position is part of the Labor & Employee Relations function within the Human Resources function and will be remote based.

  Build and develop positive and partnering culture with employee representative bodies and play a key and influencing role in critical exchanges with group-level employee representative structures for Danaher to achieve business performance, employee engagement and legal compliance.
Serve as escalation point regarding Europe LER issues by leveraging deep technical knowledge to provide guidance and recommendations in sensitive and complex LER matters consistent with company policies and core values in support of desired workplace culture. 
Analyze case data to improve LER service efficiencies, identify trends, solve problems, and develop scalable best practices to promote organizational effectiveness in LER service delivery through workflows, process-oriented solutions, and effectively championing consistent and sustained adoption of Standard Work and best practice tools by the EU LER COE, HR organization and other stakeholders through leadership-influence, training and other methods.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or another related field
~5+ years of management/people leader experience (with experience leading remote, multi-country teams)
~ Law degree with in-house experience supporting LER/HR work
