CAD-Designer | Berlin | €65k

My client who develop scientific cameras as well as optical systems are looking for an experienced CAD designer to play a pivotal part in new concept development and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative concepts and solutions for complex mechanical design challenges.
• Design and detail components, parts, and assemblies using CAD (Autodesk Inventor), considering technical, economic, and aesthetic requirements.
• Create technical documentation and manufacturing instructions.
• Generate production-ready drawings for individual parts and assemblies.
• Collaborate and communicate regularly with team members and project partners.
• Assemble prototypes and custom-built units for clients.

Qualifications:

• A completed degree in a technical or scientific field, ideally with a focus on mechanical engineering or mechatronics.
• Several years of hands-on experience in the design of technical equipment.
• Proficiency in CAD design using Autodesk Inventor.
• Practical knowledge of manufacturing technologies, materials, and chemical processes (e.g., material cleaning).
• Good command of English and German
