GERMAN SPEAKING | Automation Engineer | PLC Programmer | Siemens | EMSR | 12 Month Contract | Hyrbid | Baden-Württemberg | Start Immediately

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Freelance Automation PLC Programmer for a project in the energy sector. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing control systems for energy-related industrial machinery and automated processes. Your core focus will be on Siemens S7 and TIA Portal programming, supported by a strong background in EMSR (Electrical, Measurement, Control and Regulation) engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation solutions using Siemens S7 and TIA Portal
• Program and optimize PLC and HMI systems for energy-related applications
• Commissioning of automation systems on-site and remotely
• Troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of control systems
• Create and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
• Collaborate with EMSR engineers and project teams on control solutions
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations

Requirements

• Completed technical training or degree in Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Several years of HANDS-ON experience with Siemens S7 and TIA Portal
• Strong knowledge in EMSR (Electrical, Measurement, Control and Regulation) engineering
• Experience with fieldbus systems (e.g., Profibus, Profinet) and industrial networks
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
• 3 years experience in the energy sector
• German language required, English is a strong advantage
