Sales Manager – Preclinical Services (m/f/d)

Location: Home Office (preferably based in East or South Germany)

Start Date: As soon as possible



vivo Science GmbH, based in Gronau, is one of Europe’s leading GLP/GMP-certified laboratories for toxicology and immunogenicity studies. As part of a globally active biotech group, we support pharmaceutical, chemical, and biotechnology companies with high-quality preclinical services.



To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated Sales Manager – Preclinical Services with a passion for science and customer engagement.



Your Responsibilities

Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Identify and approach new clients within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and chemical sectors.
  • Build long-term customer relationships through expert consultation and personalized support.
Consultative & Solution-Based Sales

  • Collaborate with our scientific team to develop customized proposals and service packages.
  • Translate technical details into compelling value propositions for customer presentations and discussions.
Client Support & Representation

  • Independently manage customer visits, ensuring strong preparation and follow-up.
  • Represent vivo Science at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to expand our network.
Strategic Collaboration

  • Work closely with our marketing team to co-develop impactful strategies and content.
  • Share market insights and contribute actively to internal meetings and business development discussions.


Your Profile

  • A degree in Biology, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Veterinary Medicine, or a related life science field.
  • Experience in field sales, ideally in a GLP/GMP-certified CRO or related environment.
  • Native German speaker (or equivalent level) and fluent in English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A structured, self-motivated professional who enjoys taking initiative and working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable with a mix of travel and desk-based work, either from our HQ in Gronau or from a home office—ideally located in East or South Germany.
