SAP FICO Consultant (Freelance, 12-Month Contract)

Location: Remote and Frankfurt, Germany (20% on site)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant for a 12-month (+ extensions) freelance contract with a leading German pharmaceutical company undergoing an SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration. The consultant will be instrumental in configuring and optimizing SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and adherence to industry-specific regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA FI/CO modules, including General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Asset Accounting (FI-AA), Cost Centre Accounting (CO-CCA), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse business requirements, ensuring alignment with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations.

• Support data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, utilizing SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit or other tools.

• Conduct system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide post-implementation support to ensure system stability and performance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant, with a strong background in both ECC and S/4HANA environments.

• Proven track record in SAP S/4HANA implementations, particularly in the pharmaceutical or regulated industries.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP FI and CO modules, including integration with other SAP modules such as MM and SD.

• Fluency in German and English, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
