Job Title: Senior SAP S/4HANA Consultant - Project Management & Migration (Fuel Cell Industry)

Location: Hybrid (Stuttgart/Remote)

Start Date: ASAP (July-August 2024)

Project Duration: 6+ months

Language Requirements: German (C1+/C2) and English


Core Mission:

Lead the SAP S/4HANA migration and project management for an innovative fuel cell manufacturer in Stuttgart. Drive digital transformation across Supply Chain (SCM), Material Management (MM), and Production Planning (PP) modules, while coordinating nearshore teams (Serbia) and ensuring seamless client collaboration.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and optimize SCM, MM, and PP workflows in S/4HANA
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for developers
  • Own work packages and subprojects independently
  • Prepare executive presentations and manage SAP application support with nearshore/offshore teams
  • Conduct 1-2 onsite workshops/month (remote candidates) or work 3 days/week locally
  • Guide the September S/4HANA go-live, resolving cross-functional gaps
  • Develop internal methodologies and contribute to service portfolio growth

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Technical Expertise (5+ years minimum):

  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (MM, PP, SCM modules)
  • Proven track record in migration projects
  • ITIL process knowledge and integration skills
  • Project management certification (PMP, Agile etc.) preferred


Soft Skills:

  • Ability to take proactive ownership from requirements to delivery
  • Strong client-facing and team coordination abilities


Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business IT or related field

Location Flexibility:

  • Remote candidates: 1-2 trips/month to Stuttgart required
  • Stuttgart-based: 3 days/week onsite expected
