Lead Software Architect (m/f/d) – Product & Innovation FocusYou will be responsible for the technical development of the BAYOOSOFT product portfolio, set architecture and AI guidelines, ensure compliance under the Cyber Resilience Act and act as a sparring partner for management, product management and development teams.Lead Software Architect (m/f/d) – Product & Innovation FocusWe are strongest together as a team – that’s why we work in a hybrid model with at least three days a week on site at the respective location and two days flexibly remotely.As Lead Software Architect, you will be responsible for the technical development of our product portfolio. You will ensure that our software solutions are high-quality, maintainable, regulatory resilient (e.g. Cyber Resilience Act) and at the same time innovative and efficient to develop further.You set technological guard rails, make directional decisions with vision and translate new technologies – especially AI – into sustainable added value for our products. You combine stability with the courage to embrace change and are able to make decisions, prioritize and communicate clearly – even in the face of uncertainty.In close cooperation with the management, product management and the CTOs of the Group, you provide our teams with orientation, security and energy in complex issues.Architecture & technology orientationResponsibility for architectural principles and technological coherence across multiple productsEnsuring maintainability, quality, scalability and long-term developabilityEvaluation of architecture decisions, technology deployment and long-term technical impactConscious balance between further development, stability and technical complexityInnovation & AI as a design mandateIdentification, evaluation and prioritization of specific AI use cases in existing and new productsTranslation of technological trends into architectural decisions, product ideas and technical roadmapsDevelopment and establishment of AI guidelines and scalable architecture approachesActive role as a driver and multiplier for innovation – you actively shape future topics instead of just managing existing solutionsRegulatory resilience & speedConsideration of regulatory requirements (e.g. Cyber Resilience Act) as a design framework for architecture and product decisionsDevelopment of solutions in which security, compliance and high implementation speed are considered togetherIntegration of security, updatability, documentation and quality by design, not as a downstream obligationTechnical Leadership & CommunicationSparring partner for management, product management, architects and development teamsCommunicating complex technical contexts in an understandable, prioritized formCreating clarity and security for abstract or new topicsCoaching & mentoring of architects with a focus on responsibility, decision-making skills and communicationTechnical representation of BAYOOSOFT internally and externally (e.g. technical contributions, presentations, exchange formats)Product focus & impactClear focus on product developmentEvaluation of customer-specific requirements with regard to reusability, scaling and sustainable mapping in the product portfolioClassification of customer-specific contexts where strategically relevant impulses arise from themAssuming responsibility where it is necessary for stability and further development – with the aim of anchoring this sustainably in the teamsYour profileSeveral years of experience as a software architect with responsibility for complex systems or product portfoliosVery good understanding of modern software architectures, development processes and quality requirementsExperience in the use of AI technologies in software products (conceptual and/or practical)Understanding of security-by-design approaches and regulatory frameworksVery good knowledge of German and EnglishIn addition to your technical and professional expertise, you are characterized by your social skills.
