Home > Jobs > SOFTWARE DEVELOPER / SOFTWARE ENGINEERSOFTWARE DEVELOPER / SOFTWARE ENGINEERYou can apply for the position of "SOFTWARE DEVELOPER / SOFTWARE ENGINEER" by loggin in to your portal.Quantum-Systems is seeking a visionary Software Architect to define, own, and evolve end-to-end software architectures spanning embedded systems, ground control software, and cloud platforms for our cutting-edge drone technology.Key Responsibilities:Define, own, and evolve comprehensive end-to-end software architectures covering embedded systems, ground control software, and cloud platformsCollaborate closely with the Lead Software Architect on technical strategy and directionGuide and mentor agile development teams on architectural best practices and technical decisionsEnsure consistency, scalability, security, and performance across all software layersEvaluate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks for potential adoptionSupport integration efforts between airborne systems, ground stations, and cloud infrastructureCreate and maintain architectural documentation and technical specificationsConduct code and design reviews to ensure architectural complianceDrive technical innovation and continuous improvement initiativesCollaborate with product management to translate business requirements into technical solutionsQualifications & Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field5+ years of professional software development experience3+ years of experience as a Software Architect or in a similar technical leadership roleStrong experience with embedded systems, real-time software, or IoT platformsExperience with cloud platforms and distributed systems (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Proficiency in modern programming languages (C++, Python, Java, or similar)Deep understanding of software design patterns, architectural styles, and system integrationExperience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)Excellent German and English communication skills (written and verbal)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesPreferred Qualifications:Experience in the aerospace, drone, or robotics industryKnowledge of safety-critical systems and standards (DO-178C, ISO 26262)Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesContributions to open-source projects or technical publicationsAdditional Requirements:Must have valid work authorization for Germany (EU citizenship or valid work visa)Willingness to work in a hybrid model (office presence required in Bavaria)German language proficiency (B2/C1 level) preferred for day-to-day collaborationHow to ApplyRegister and login with your applicant or student account to access the ability to upload your C.V and apply for a job.You need a student or job applicant account to login to apply for this job.
