Global Industry Manager Renewable Energy (m/w/d)

Your Job Description::

The goal of this position is to increase ifm’s visibility and grow the business in the market segment Renewable Energy (RE) and strengthen its market presence. The ifm definition of Renewable Energy includes all customers and stakeholders in the Windpower, Hydropower, Bio, Hydrogen and Marine Energy segments. The main tasks are:

• Developing the global Renewable Energy industry strategy, ensuring alignment across regions, and monitoring short- and long-term industry trends and market developments
• Leading global Renewable Energy industry teams in close cooperation with regional sales business units
• Managing and coordinating global key accounts, strengthening strategic customer engagement, and driving business opportunities
• Defining and aligning global marketing approaches and consistent industry messaging
• Collaborating closely with Product Management and Corporate Marketing
• Representing the company in Renewable Energy industry associations and at exhibitions
• Traveling internationally for customer visits and participation in global meetings

Your Profile::

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
• You have a solid understanding of the core technologies in the market to help identify customer benefits
• Your intercultural competence helps you deliver solutions within the company for the benefit of customers worldwide
• Taking initiative is part of your daily routine, you are able to make a positive contribution to the RE industry’s international growth
• Strong teamwork is second nature to you
• You are willing to travel internationally for business (the position can be fulfilled in any of the major countries involved in Renewable Energy where ifm has a subsidiary)
• Your business-fluent English and excellent presentation skills round out your profile
