The Head of Platform & Solutions Operations is responsible for running B. Braun's Customer facing Integrated Solutions Portfolio and Digital Foundation platform in production, end to end. Service Integration, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), incident/problem/change management, observability, and service-level management all sit within this role's operating model. You act as the primary interface between the Digital Foundation's platform teams and the internal service organizations.You own the operating model end-to-end: starting with a pilot on one integrated solution in your first months, and scaling from there into a sustainable, audit-proof operating capability.Tasks and responsibilities:You build a pilot for one integrated solution within your first months, delivering it end-to-end with agreed interfaces, real SLOs in use, and a functioning stakeholder feedback loopYou design and implement a Service Integration (SIAM) operating model across multiple internal providers, including IT Service Desk, Global Business Service, and Global Technical ServiceYou introduce SLOs and error budgets on top of the observability stack and use them to drive prioritization and operational decisionsYou establish modern, risk-tiered change management practices based on GitOps and policy-as-code principlesYou build, lead, and grow an operational team or competence center that ensures reliable platform operations in productionYou collaborate with Quality and Regulatory Affairs to define and fulfill supplier obligations under IEC 62304 and ISO 13485You represent platform operations to internal and external stakeholders, communicating risks, incidents, and the roadmap in a transparent manner.Professional Qualifications:You hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a comparable fieldYou bring more than 8 years of experience in platform or production operations, including several years in a leadership positionYou have hands-on experience implementing SLOs, observability practices, and incident response processes in live production environmentsYou have successfully designed and operated a Service Integration (SIAM) or comparable multi-provider operating modelYou possess practical experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), cloud-native platforms, Kubernetes, and GitOps-based change enablementYou have worked in regulated or compliance-sensitive production environments, ideally with ISO 27001 / SOC 2, while experience with IEC 62304 and ISO 13485 is a strong advantageYou communicate fluently in English and work confidently in German with enterprise stakeholders.Personal Competencies:You build trust and collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, including with stakeholders who do not report directly to you and in virtual, cross-site environmentsYou are self-motivated and hands-on while remaining calm and decisive during major incidentsYou combine a structured and analytical mindset with the ability to act quickly under pressureYou are genuinely curious about modern operations and continuously expand your knowledge as technology platforms and regulatory requirements evolve.Benefits:Company pension schemeMobility benefits, e.g., the B.
