• Development & UX (m/f/d)Your responsibilitiesHold overall technical responsibility for SAP development and SAP UX governance across all SAP solutionsSteer our external nearshore development partners functionally and technically, from requirement to acceptance, including review of solution designs and effort estimatesEstablishing design guidelines, and interaction conceptsDefine quality and delivery standards for development partners and evaluate their performanceBuild and evolve a global SAP development governance with binding guidelines for ABAP OO, RAP, CDS, OData, SAPUI5, Fiori Elements and SAP BTP extensions, and enforce these standards for internal developers and offshore support teamsEstablish quality gates such as architecture and code reviews, testing strategies, ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) and transport and release processesDefine the clean core strategy and roadmap: analyze and reduce existing custom code and modifications, move new developments to the ABAP Cloud development model and released APIs, and track progress with measurable clean core KPIsDefine the extensibility strategy for SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP (on-stack and side-by-side), including standards for APIs, integrations and event-driven architecturesDrive the introduction of AI into SAP development, from AI-assisted coding, code review, testing and documentation (e.g. SAP Joule for Developers, GitHub Copilot) to AI-based extensions on SAP BTPDefine guidelines for the responsible use of AI in development, covering code quality, security, intellectual property and regulatory requirements, including expectations towards development partnersDevelop the SAP UX strategy and lead the transition from a largely SAP GUI-based landscape to SAP Fiori, prioritized by business value and user adoptionDefine standards for the Fiori launchpad, spaces & pages, business catalogs and role models in close collaboration with the authorization and Basis teamsSupport our S/4HANA transformation program with architecture decisions and introduce modern development tools and practices such as SAP Business Application Studio, Git and CI/CDCoach internal developers and build an SAP developer community that shares knowledge on clean core and AI-assisted developmentMaintain compliance with all quality standards and regulatory requirementsYour profileMinimum of 10 years of experience in SAP development, including several years as lead developer, development architect or in a comparable roleStrong expertise in ABAP OO, RAP, CDS, OData / SAP Gateway, SAPUI5 and SAP FioriHands-on experience with clean core transformation, custom code analysis and remediation, and the ABAP Cloud development modelProven track record in steering external development partners (nearshore / offshore)Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools and a clear view on how AI can improve productivity and quality in SAP developmentGood understanding of the SAP Fiori Design Guidelines and UX principlesExperience with SAP BTP, SAP Business Application Studio, SAP Build Work Zone, SAP AI Core / Generative AI Hub and CI/CD (Git, Azure DevOps) is an advantageProactive, analytical, and structured working styleAbility to drive standards through expertise and persuasion, without formal authorityExcellent communication skills, with the ability to influence developers, partners and senior stakeholdersStrong ability to manage expectations and balance conflicting prioritiesVery good English skills (written and spoken) for international collaboration; [German is an advantage]Interest in innovative technologies and new trendsOur offerHigh-quality products in a life-saving environmentAttractive conditions, 30 vacation days per yearTrusted working hours and possibility of mobile workingJobRad and corporate benefits (employee discounts)Career opportunities in a well-known companyIndividual training and further education opportunitiesAbout usWith a firm belief that every person and community should have access to the best possible care, Getinge provides hospitals and life science institutions with products and solutions aiming to improve clinical results and optimize workflows.
