Solution Consultant (m/f/d) for Sales and Customer Portal

Your responsibilities:

• As a Solution Consultant (m/f/d) in the Sales & Portals, you will actively help shape the digital future of our sales and customer service processes.
• You will gather technical requirements from the areas of sales, marketing, customer service, and other departments, analyze them, and evaluate their feasibility.
• As a knowledgeable point of contact, you’ll advise the business units on technical possibilities and work with them to develop cost-effective, sustainable, and future-proof solutions for our portals based on standard software and in-house Java developments.
• By analyzing existing processes, you will identify opportunities for optimization and develop solutions that sustainably improve both user journeys and internal workflows.
• You will independently implement business processes and functionalities using a low-code/no-code approach with the BSI Customer Suite so that business units can utilize them.
• When introducing new features, you will play a supporting role and oversee the corresponding rollouts from preparation through implementation.
• You will actively help shape the further development of our portal architecture and digital sales strategy, thereby making an important contribution to the future-oriented advancement of the underlying systems.
• You will work constructively and in a solution-oriented manner with internal and external developers as well as service providers.

Your skills:

• A successfully completed degree in (Business) Computer Science or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience as a Solution Consultant, Business Analyst, IT Consultant, or Product Owner
• Technical expertise combined with domain knowledge
• Understanding of modern software architectures as well as web-based communication and service portals
• Knowledge of the insurance industry in the areas of sales, marketing, and customer service
• Proficiency with common tools such as Confluence and Jira
• Knowledge of the BSI Customer Suite, Liferay, or Crownpeak/FirstSpirit is a plus
• Confident demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to explain complex issues clearly and mediate between different interests
• A strong willingness to learn and develop in order to shape innovations and new technologies
• An independent and self-directed work style, coupled with a high level of commitment
